Ofsted Inspection

 

We delighted to share with you Quest Academy’s published Ofsted inspection report following our inspection on 30 June 2026.

 

This is a report that we believe our whole school community can be incredibly proud of. Ofsted judged Personal Development and Wellbeing as a Strong Standard, with all other evaluated areas meeting the Expected Standard, alongside confirmation that our safeguarding standards are met.

 

There is so much within the report that celebrates what makes Quest special. Inspectors recognised our personal development programme as a “significant strength”, highlighting our Preparation for Adulthood curriculum, extensive enrichment opportunities and highly effective careers programme. They noted that our learners are well prepared for their next steps in education, employment or training.

 

We  are particularly proud to see Ofsted describe Quest as a “welcoming and nurturing school”, where learners feel safe and well supported, develop confidence in themselves as learners and build a strong sense of belonging and engagement. These words reflect exactly what we want Quest to be: a school where every learner feels that they belong, is understood and is given the opportunity to succeed.

Swimming Competency for 25/26
10 learners (a mixture of year 6 pupils and some year 7 pupils who did not have the opportunity to swim in key stage 2 in their previous settings) have accessed weekly swimming lessons. 90% of those learners have now met the Year 6 standard. By the end of the lessons, 30% of learners were able to swim over 100m unaided.
