Upper School Learning (LTPs)
In our Upper School, most learners will be ready and prepared to transition around the school, following a modified secondary school style approach receiving subject specialist input in a range of National Curriculum subjects but helps learners cope with the challenges of change and transition.
Learners study a core of subjects that allow them to continue to access a broad and balanced education that prepares them for life as well as accessing a range of qualifications.
The range of subjects on offer in the Upper School are: English, Maths, Science, Music Technology, Media and Computing, Art and Design, Careers Education, Food Technology, Physical Education, PSHCE and ASDAN courses. Please see below further information on these subjects.
Teachers use these long-term plans to guide their medium and short-term lesson planning.
