Lower School Learning
In our Lower School, learners access a full range of National Curriculum subjects. These are delivered by a class teacher using a primary school model to offer the highest level of consistency. These are delivered as discreet subjects and through a topic that changes each half term. This helps learners to access more meaningful learning experiences in which they are able to make links between their learning in different subject areas helping them to contextualise and consolidate learning.
The range of subjects delivered in Lower School are: Literacy, Maths, Science, Humanities (Creative Curriculum), Computing, Arts Award, Food Technology, Physical Education, Outdoor Education, PSHCE and ASDAN Life Skills. Please see below further information on these subjects.
